Love love a holiday weekend. Friday I went to see a friend's band play in Sunnyvale, then out for snacks after at PF Chang's. How fun. Laid low for the two following days and cleaned house. Yesterday I had an impressive dinner at Forbes Mill Steak House in Los Gatos. I enjoyed the leftover risotto for breakfast and ribeye steak for lunch. It's so nice outside I had a hard time coming back to work from lunch today. Went to Target for shampoo and it only cost me $85.

Beer at the mall is effing brilliant, and bless Jan's heart for finding it for me last night. Jan and I went to the mall last night instead of doing our workout. Anyone who knows me knows I hate shopping, so Jan did bring a little balance to the ordeal. In any case, she bought a digital camera, and some new clothes for her jaunt to Scottsdale this weekend. I drove to her new house in San Mateo and Moxie and I did not get home till after 11. Yawn yawn yawn today. Jan and Barbara's new place is kickass. Can't wait till they throw a house-warming party.

Bought my tickets to go see my Mom in Montana next month. Chief will be house-dog-sitting for me for a week. Moxie will be happy to see him.

It's starting to sprout. Aww.
